​​Sigma Chi- A Force on Birmingham- Southern's Campus for 25 Years. 

 

 

The Chi Chi Chapter of Sigma Chi, located at Birmingham- Southern College, is one of the premier Chapters of the International Sigma Chi Fraternity. Begun by fewer than 20 young men in 1993, our chapter has routinely attracted the best students and leaders at 'Southern in an effort to adhere our close-knit brotherhood to our central values of friendship, justice, and learning. A 2015-2016 Dwight C. Peterson Blue Award winner (awarded to the best Chapters in Sigma Chi) the 2017 Daniel William Cooper Award winner, the 2012- 2013 International Sigma Chi Chapter of the Year, the Chi Chi brotherhood has attracted and fledged numerous Student Body and Honor Council Presidents, star NCAA Collegiate Athletes, dozens of Phi Beta Kappa Initiates, and past leaders in nearly every student organization on campus. Current alumni include notable attorneys, investors, doctors, lobbyists, accountants among many other professions and have gone on to postgraduate programs at Yale Law School, London School of Economics, Columbia Engineering School,  University of UAB Medical and Dental Schools, Duke Law School, University of Alabama Law School and many more.
